Jeff started in the automotive industry when he was 16 years old doing tire work for Graham Tire in Lincoln.  He stayed with Graham while he attended high school.  Jeff attended SCC in Milford, NE. and graduated in 1992.  Still working at Graham Tire through schooling he had a position waiting for him as a technician.  Jeff continued with Graham Tire until 1996 and moved on to an independent repair shop in Lincoln and worked there for a little over 2 years.  Jeff, his wife Trisha and there oldest daughter moved to Iowa City, Iowa where Trisha spent 4 years doing her residency.  Now with another daughter they moved back to Omaha and Jeff went back to the independent repair shop he last worked at until March of 2003 when Powers Automotive Services, Inc was started. 

Specializes in engine performance and electrical problems 

Jeff has spent the last 6 years specializing in engine performance and electrical  problems.  In that time he has spent 100’s of hours in training and research and has made the equipment purchasing to keep him at the top in these areas.

Hobbies

Jeff spends the little time he has extra looking for old gas station memorabilia.  He has a small collection now and plans on slowly filling the house full of gas pumps, old oil lubesters, and signs when his wife is working late!!

Now that Trisha got her wish in getting a puppy he spends a lot of time fixing the damage from the over-energized little animal.  Even though the trouble the dog causes around the house Jeff has successfully brought the dog back from a couple of hunting trips. 

Jeff has always had an interest in old cars and still has the 1966 Ford Fairlane that he bought when he was seventeen!  Jeff also has the car that his mother bought for his father in 1978.  The 1967 Ford Mustang convertible was the first documented car that Jeff has worked on by himself many years ago!
