Jason Mahlberg departs in service to his country
We have had some changes taking place at Powers Automotive Services. Jason Mahlberg who was doing an internship through the university of Iowa Western Technical college in automotive repair had to leave us suddenly. Jason was called to duty and will be going to Southern Afghanistan in May. We want to wish Jason good luck and look forward to seeing him return after his 18 month tour is over.

New Employee: Chris Gimore

As hiring new employees is a challenging task that I don’t look forward to. I have however found the type on employee that I look for. Chris Gilmore has the qualities that make him very valuable. He has been a big help and I look forward to him working with us for a long time.

Shop Expansion, Pies and more!
We have added another 2000 sq ft to our shop to help us service the customer. We have added another hoist and will be adding another one in the future. The business is growing fast and I have a lot of customers to thank for that, the Village Inn pie reward program for referred customers is working well and we will continue to do that. We have given away close to $200.00 in pies in the last 8 months!!!! Even though we are business is growing the way I do business has not changed. I always give the customer the options to repairing their vehicle if there are different ways to go about certain fixes. I want the customer to be informed of the condition that there vehicle is in. Being informed will make future repair decisions much easier. Once again thank you for using us as your complete car and truck repair shop.
